
| 2024 2nd International Conference on Applied Statistics, Modelling, and Advanced Algorithms (ASMA2024) was successfully held from September 27 to 29, 2024, at Harbin University of Science and Technology in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. The event was hosted by Harbin University of Science and Technology and organized by the School of Automation at Harbin University of Science and Technology. It was co-organized by the School of Science at Harbin University of Science and Technology, the School of Mathematics and Information Science at North Minzu University, and the AEIC Academic Exchange Center. |

The conference attracted over 300 participants, including scholars from domestic and international universities, IEEE Fellows, and local expert representatives. |

Prof. Hak-Keung Lam from King's College London, Prof. XU Chuanju from Xiamen University, Prof. Oleg Danilov from Novosibirsk State University, Prof. QIU Jianbin from Harbin Institute of Technology, Prof. ZOU Lei from Donghua University, Prof. Raquel Caballero-Águila from the University of Jaén in Spain, Assoc. Prof. YANG Rui from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, and Assoc. Prof. YU Hui from Harbin University of Science and Technology delivered outstanding keynote presentations. |

The conference featured parallel sessions for thematic presentations, where over ten scholars from institutions such as the Civil Aviation Flight University of China, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Donghua University, University of Jinan, Heilongjiang University, and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China delivered oral reports. These reports focused on topics like "Analysis of the Impact Indicators of Illegal Wildlife Trade Based on Mathematical Models" and "Multi-task-Based Detection and Prediction of Epileptic EEG." Participating experts engaged in discussions on these topics and offered their insights and suggestions. |
